We have two of these and one gets some shade one none and the one in full sun has done extremely well. All flowering was very heavy but are all gone now and just the bracts are left giving it the look of it's common name...."Brown Salvia". This one is about 4 x 4 feet. In the second photo the plants all wet from rain. I really like it. I planted a African Blue Sage (Salvia chamelaeagnea) next to it. I had intended it to be Salvia african-cerulea but it turned out to be another Brown Salvia.
