I sure wish the US would have gone 100% metric years and years ago. Instead, as I recall, we just started listing both on containers but kept the archaic measurements as the primary (e.g., a quart of milk also lists as .95 liter rather than the other way around). I believe the idea was we would gradually wean over to metric, but that of course never actually happened. I try to teach myself to think in metric, but the temperature really throws me off. I have thus far been unable to walk outside, feel that it is mild, and have any notion what C degree that might be. Note to self: get and use a Celcius thermometer as a learning tool. Silly Americans.
