Is this a bug? Or intended?
I noticed that when I changed the status on a daylily from "Have" to "Used to Have" (which is marked as "Prev" in my plant listing), the plant count listed under daylilies did not change.
I tried the reverse; when I changed the status on a daylily from "Used to Have" to "Have", the plant count stayed the same.
I decided to try to see what would happen if I added a plant as a "Want". I tried adding the daylily "Lord of Rings", into the Category of daylilies, as a "Want" (with choice 4, "thinking about it"). The plant got added to my list of daylilies as a "Want", but the list count for the daylilies increased!
So it seems to me that your plant lists are constructed to display a count of every plant listed there, including the "Used to Have"s and the "Want"s, even though I may not actually have the plant. The only way to get the count to display realistically (meaning, only plants that I actually currently have are included in the count), is to trashcan (delete) those plants that I don't actually have.
Maybe you think it should work this way, but it seems like a bug to me.
The personal list of plants that I can keep here is very useful to me, but I would like to be able to easily determine how many plants I actually have, without manually counting them up, or deleting the former or coveted plants not actually in my garden. But I want to be able to keep those plants on the site list too. For the plants no longer in my garden, it is nice to keep a handy ATP site note as to why (so if someone asks about the plant, I can respond); for the plants that I want, it is nice to be able to note why I may want them, and to be able to review my "Want"s before purchasing plants or engaging in trades.
