'Avalanche' is a hybrid of H. 'Warwick Choice'. I've had it in my garden since spring 2008. It has leaves with a light-green centre, striking, wide, white-margins. Mine has been troubled the last few years with tattered margins and I've not yet decided whether it is the result of increasing sun due to neighbourhood ash trees dying or whether it's a characteristic of the plant. At any rate, mine found itself in full sun as the result of losing our tree and I had to move it early in the 2015 season, but my that time some damage has already been done. I would really like to hear from you and see pictures if you are growing this one well.
