Shenk's Ferry Wildflower Preserve is located in western Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, adjacent to the Susquehanna River south of Safe Harbor. Wildflowers are easily viewed from a wide, level trail located on a hillside overlooking a meandering stream. On April 16, 2016, six species of wildflowers abounded:
