Have been growing one violet under a regular light bulb since early last fall and have watered it with only H2O2 solution. I use one tablespoon of 3% peroxide in 2 cups of water. When it is completely dry, I water it from the bottom until the top is moist, lift the pot to drain excess. The leaves are dark green and it has given me flush after flush of bloom. Don't know if this is a fluke or not, but my other house plants like the same treatment. Best wishes!
