I am tired and only half done. I decided I needed to give all the daylilies a really good zap of fertilizer now that much of the regular season bloomers are done. The timing is good as we had rain last night and the night before so the ground is wet.

I do fertilize in the spring with alfalfa pellets and a bagged fertilizer like Plant Tone. This spring I tried Flower Tone on all the daylilies. But then my routine is also to hit them again mid summer around now with a liquid fertilizer. I use Neptune Liquid Seaweed Fertilizer. As I have so many daylilies I have to use the hose end sprayer and go around to do everything,

So half done as I did all the downstairs daylilies. Now I have to go out and go upstairs to do all those to finish. I started today spraying the roses as it is rose spraying day. That happens every two weeks and I have been using the hose end sprayer there too. So when I was done with that, I washed out the sprayer and started with the fertilizer on the daylilies.

OK, off I go to get finished.
