I don't want to clutter up the forum with a purely personal request. I was thinking I would like to do a lookup between the list here and our list at the botanical garden to see which ones are in common. Then maybe get a list of plants that might do well here that we won't have. Of the many we planted last year many look doubtful. It is still a little early for some of course but some are actually blooming now. Well, three are. A red, a yellow, and a white. Tiny little fellows. And some don't bloom with flowers, right? Since I have sort of decided next to the peony collection, I want to be part of the rock garden team I would like to help build up our collection. It has been sorely neglected for some years as was the rest of the garden in terms of identifying what is alive and what has died. To assure that the old labels have been verified as valid next to a plant then replacing with our new ones printed by IrisBG the new plant inventory database. Most of that was done last year but I still see some old crumpled tags still out there. You go as fast as you can but stuff starts growing and pretty soon important info is buried in the greenery. A good thing in some ways, not so good in others.
