I have memories of milkweed since my childhood also. I thought they were amazing miracles. The sparkling beauty of the floss, and the softness, and they way they floated weightlessly through the air. I was fascinated by them. I hardly see them anymore, living in the city. It's been a long time since I drove to the country for a walk. I think I shall do that this weekend!
