I grow 'So Sweet' and I have liked it since I planted it here. Then I saw a hosta advertised as Sun Hosta, it was supposedly a sport of So Sweet. So I bought some and planted the four Sun Hosta around the garden, one I planted right next to 'So Sweet' so I could judge for myself the differences.
Now after a full year here are the results...can anyone tell the difference?

The two planted next to each other, 'So Sweet' is the one in the back, I have had it a year or two longer than the Sun Hosta in the foreground so naturally it is larger.

They do take sun rather well even in my 8b garden.
