Prickly Sensation is a good and hardy plant. I received it from the hybridizer Bill Maryott 2 years ago and it has survived one very severe winter in southern Kentucky and the mild one of 2015. Prickly Sensation bloomed beautifully both years. It is an average increaser and I could divide it this year if I desired to. Prickly Sensation is consistent in color and form, it does not hang up when it blooms.
