The leaves are very much like Thalictrum.

There's not many species in Michigan, the closest of those listed is maybe Thalictrum pubescens. The outer lobes on your plant look to be rounded, some of those on this species are rounded but generally appear to be a little pointed and the basal shape more acute.

It might pay to look at other Thalictrum species although there's likely to be some variation. It might be something else but it does resemble Thalictrum.
