Oh no don't stop please....It is a bit overwhelming but there are great people here to help if they can and if they can't there are more great people that can. There is that photo of yours in the sandbox that can be added easily. Click on it and it enlarges and just below it in blue letters...( I just had to go look at how to do it)... it says "Associate with a plant in the database" click on that and it goes through the steps. In this case I thought it might be Plantago erecta. Just type that into the box and it will come up to select it. Proceed to step two and presto it's into the correct plant in the DB. If your still not sure of the ID it can be posted to the ID forum, but I'm not sure how to do that, and someone will confirm or most likely find the proper ID. Your photos have been wonderful. Love all the Texas natives. People just don't take notice of lots of these let alone take a photo. The butterflies and cats are great too. I like all photos with the pollinators and other critters in them. My favorite photo of yours is this one . I still can't figure out how that thread got into the sandbox? That usually happens when a thread has been going on and on and on......not when its one day old! Took me a year to figure out what the sandbox was. I thought it was for people who garden in sandy soil. Hilarious! Shrug! Best regards Leslie. edited to say:Zuzu just explained why it went into the sandbox on the original thread titled 'huh' . Once you deleted the thumbnail picture in question by cyclaminist it went to the Sandbox.
