'Frances Willliams' is a sport of 'Elegans'. I've had it since spring 2009 and it really is just a space taker. This one has large metallic blue-green, rounded and cupped leaves with an irregular gold edge. Leaves vary from elongated to more rounded, margin is wide and irregular. But it has a problem in that it tends to show spring desiccation burn, even when kept in a dark place like where I have it (too dark and too dry). But it grows slowly and many other hostas have not in this location. Please feel free to share your pictures of this hosta.
