'Paradise Island' is a sport of 'Fire Island'. It has beautiful yellow leaves with a striking green border held on a red petiole. The red comes up into the leaf. It has the potential to become a medium-sized plant and I've had mine since spring 2011. Mine started out growing well, but after a couple of years it was being destroyed by slugs even though it was only a couple of feet away from 'Fire Island' which was doing well. In 2015, I potted it and it seemed to do better, but still hadn't attained the growth I expected from it.
