What an inviting pathway in your second photo. Comfrey is beneficial for most animals, a great additive to compost, and works well as a mulch (just cut and lay out the large leaves). I feed it to my chickens, and when they are free ranging, they are drawn to it like a magnet. Luckily, it is so robust, they only serve to prune it a bit for me.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
