Tarev, thanks for the advice, I will keep an eye out for any rot. I do keep it in an area where it gets the sun for most of the day.
Ken, I will check out the orchid you recommended for this area, I have been reluctant to grow orchids because I thought they required too much time and care. In a few years I will be retired and have the time.
