Here is the before of an old wrought iron swing. I wanted to have it sand-blasted and repainted,
but the cost was more than a new swing, and I'm just not physically up to the wire brush and
Rustoleum thing on something this large. My neighbor placed the cushion on it, but it was too
wide. I had already purchased one which had the same problem, so I returned it.

Here it is as of Sat. with new paint on the arbor and a new swing, plus cushions and pillows in
place:

I have replaced the black pot of daylilies beside it with a large blue ceramic planter containing a
Zepherine Drouhin (sp.) rose and a clematis Jackmanii, the thornless rose for its fragrance and
the clematis for contrast, both to climb over the arbor.
I think that if ever a mortal heard the voice of God it would be in a garden at the cool of the day. ~F. Frankfort Moore, A Garden of Peace
