I have two experiments for “scent” gardens in mind. One is in wooded area with a high canopy. (shade) The other is full sun. The idea is to come up with a list of highly fragrant plants that are still fragrant in November. They should be truly fragrant perennials. Should be fragrant without being disturbed/cut/touched. Should be winter hardy.
I just planted 4 Witchhazel trees and I am looking at Russian Sage. Any suggestions?
