Wrens are so darn persistent. Wrens build fake nests in several spots, and then have their actual nest in a hidden area, to avoid predators. They are fast nest builders too, less than a day. And it's a very messy unorganized nest, as opposed to say, a bluebird. I've never actually seen wren eggs in any of the nests, so I remove them ASAP. Over and over.......
