When repotting my Paphiopedilum Ho Chi Minh (delenatii x vietnamense) I found this runner which is about 5 to 6 inches long at bottom of pot. It is the first time I have seen anything like this when repotting paphs. Not sure which parent is responsible for this growth habit, but I have never seen it in any of my several delenatii crosses and most of my vietnamense plants or crosses are too immature to show this trait.
