Carolyn Criswell is one of my favourite yellow daylilies. I have had it for many years now, and it always puts on a good show of bloom. It is in a semi-shaded location and it still blooms very well. It blooms for a very long period of time in my garden being one of my earliest daylilies blooming and one of my last to finish. It is a true dormant in my northern garden and with the extended cold spring this year, the foliage was quite late appearing. The foliage always looks good, and it is a daylily that I will always have in my garden. The colour is a soft yellow, and it blends well with other colours.
