I acquired 4 fans of Galaxy Explosion from Susan (stilldew) the end of August 2015. It was transplanted from a pot into a new raised bed on October 4, 2015. It settled in quickly, has shown no rust, and in April it produced 3 scapes of which the first bloom appeared in May. I have also noticed that it has produced an additional fan to make a nice small clump. Two things I noted about this cultivar .... the blooms are smaller than I thought they would be (5") and the color of the bloom is hard to capture in photos. The scapes on mine this year are only 28", but I would imagine that once the clump really starts growing that the scape height will be closer to the registered 40".

Here are two photos to show how different the color of the blooms can vary when trying to photograph. Sometimes they look more orange and other times they look more red.:
