The leaves on mine had a ridge running down the middle, that's one thing which put me off. I've blown up the pic, I think the leaves have a ridge. Not sure about the stamens though! They seem to vary on this plant, not at all like those on mine but different species have different stamens. There's also no spike of buds visible like mine had, much like a gladiolus spike, again that varies with species.
