I bought it as a set of 3 half dead roots with small crowns in a bag at Walmart about 4 or 5 years ago . It took a long while for those tiny little things to come around and last year may have been its first year of real performance. It is now a healthy thriving plant with many many fans.
I also discovered that it is a bud builder and it looks like I had flowers from July 12 through at least at least August 25 (by the date on my pictures (Zone 5B, east facing garden with full morning sun and afternoon diffuse light).
