Mine started out traditional, then I realized that it's not too traditional to try & do an English-style rose garden in the middle of the rocky mountains. So, while my main gardening is roses, it's also a very xeric (roses /=/ xeric) garden... and I'm always willing to push the envelope as to what will grow versus what I can TRY to grow. LOL.. which means I end up digging up a lot of dead things.
