Could be. I'm guessing that is because of the light. My plants are on a rooftop patio and they get sun for most of the day.

The leafy color you refer to happens on one of my plants too (first picture). They tend to start out greenish or paler red, then become properly red over the course of the next few days. That process could also be sort of light-dependent, I haven't tested. Smiling
