Aloes are so much fun and there are so many of them! Yes, normal is putting out offsets at the base of Mom. But, sometimes she will put out a plantlet on the flower stalk. You can leave it alone until it gets bigger or cut if off now. Best would be if it developed its own roots first. Sit it on a shelf for a week to dry, then pot it up. Here's one of my Gasteraloes with regular pup and one like yours. Gene
