Very nicely written, Benny. Flowers do bring sentimentality to our lives and Memorial Day and poppies go hand in hand. May we never forget the sacrifice of those who served our country to keep us free.

I think about that sometimes as I make my way around my garden. How many people all over the world do not have the luxury of simply walking through a garden and enjoying the sights and smells it brings to one's senses.
