If you can just rinse it off thoroughly with water, either in the sink with the sprayer, or in the shower that will help a lot. Use tepid, not cold water. Rinse tops and undersides of the leaves, all the stems, and the soil surface, plus the pot, too.

Do this once a week or so, and the mites will stay away. Here, once the rainy season kicks in we never see a mite until autumn.
