I think this is commonly called Daisy Fleabane which means it is an Erigeron. There seem to be several Erigerons which share the common name. Any idea what might be correct or is it possibly something else entirely? This plant has long stems with sparse, nondescript foliage. It's been a wet year, but it always has the effect of being tall and lanky. This year it's running from about 24" to 36" tall. Just hoping the bloom may be enough for an id. Photos taken in the ditch by the side of a country road.
