Well, I might have found the second plant for you after some searching. We recently had someone else from Iran, I had a site with some photos but it took a while to recognise what I was looking at. There is a photo on the following site showing a bare hill behind a greyish plant with yellow flowers, hovering over the photo gives a name of sophora alopecuroides ssp. tomentosa..
