I found I couldn't unscrew the hose from what I don't remember because it was some time ago. I wound up cutting it off, leaving one end without a female connection. The hose is still usable for cleaning, lets say the tankless water heater. I would have never thought about the miss matched metals although I know about that concept. Thank you for bringing this to the forefront of my mind. I will remember this the next time I buy a hose, which I am due.
