This is something that only hosta lovers will understand.

I had a house up for sale and a couple asked me if they could rent it and they would like to buy it after a year. Well one year went by and they asked for extension. I gave them one more year. They were not able to get their credit up enough to buy so I told them I could not extend for a third yr.

Because they were an older couple and I have had a lot going on I had not checked the property in a year. I have a landscaper that takes care of the properties I have. But now comes the hosta part.

When I came to get the keys and do the walk through they were so proud to show me the outdoor; improvements they made. Dug up the Hostas and put in annuals. She said her and her DH cleaned out around the pond and planted some flowers.

I did not have the heart to shoot them . Whistling I am sure the look on my face was not pleasant. But I will not charge them as I have done for other tenants that have taken it upon themselves to try to landscape the property. They really thought the Hostas were weeds. Bless their heart they are off my property.

I have been walking around my Hosta gardens to see what I can divide to landscape around the pond again.
