I have a hill (more like a gradual slope) in my unfenced backyard which gently slopes down to the sidewalk. It has been the biggest thorn in my side for years. The soil near top is not great & I have amended it some, but not enough. Farther down the soil is great; rich & friable. Problem is, now that i've had surgery on my spine I can't get out there & dig & baby it along all season. I need perennial, bushy, flowering plants that will take up quite a bit of area, like full sun & still look attractive. I will post pics. of my "problem hill" & would love any suggestions for low-maintenance, hardy plants.
