I love the darker colors. Lovey dubby I started mine inside in little peat pots. Germination was super good. I also tried starting in the garden beds. Not one survived. I'm sorry yours were knocked over by the rain. That's awful. I have two other hollyhock coming along from last year, but they did not bloom. Do they sometimes bloom the third year even? I bought my seed from Burpees. I'm excited to save the seed. Would love to trade with you for the darker hollyhock.
