I had estimated these seed pods to ripen on/about June 10. On June 9 I remembered to bind the pods so when they ripened the seeds wouldn't all blow away.
They ripened June 12 and the pods dropped off the tree June 14.
I have no idea how this seed-grown tree's flower was pollinated...whether the pollen came from another flower on the tree or pollen from flower of another tree.
The mother tree is an Adenium obesum with characteristics of an unknown cultivar.
If any one would like some seeds, send me a self-addressed, stamped, standard airmail envelope. USPS postage is the same here as for CONUS and Hawaii: 47 cents. Tree-mail me and I'll give you my mail address.
Note: I cannot guarantee whether the seeds will come true to the mother parent nor whether the seeds are viable.
