I have to tell you it was nothing but a stroke of luck for my PP to turn out as it did. I purchased it as a buggy sized bulb at a local garden nursery (Garlands for any local lurkers). It was at least 4" in diameter and I had to dig a mighty hole for it. I should dig it up and propagate it!

As for Midnight, I will not buy it again. I have yet see one that is dark like in the catalog photographs. I did buy one at a garden show from The Lily Pad and it is practically white.
