I find Mike Longo a slow grower and not always a reliable bloomer. Last year Maine had a long warn growing season and Mike was lovely. Maybe Michigan has a more reliable warm summer? Visitors have never commented on the plant until last summer. The flower has some substance and a nice ruffle.
