well, it could be! This was in the 'back room' of PHOE - they have a rare-plants breeding section, not for sale. they had all sorts of unusual plants there.
perhaps they were trying to propagate it - as it looks very interesting.
I looked at other pics and found this very closely resembling mine - it's on a reliable site

i also think that i've seen this plant again somewhere in botanical gardens - but as i take thousands of pics there, it might take me some time to locate it...IF i took a pic of it...
