the above two differ in pattern of variegation considerably from S. pictus. my plant is just a seedling from 3" pot - so the variegation is not from mature plant.
i read that the biggest difference of 'Exotica' from 'Argyreus' that it grows very fast! especially in hydro - which is how i grow my plants. not in total-hydro, but semi-hydro (roots in small pot in the mix, with water roots/wick trailing in the reservoir). Both reg 'Pictus' and 'Argyreus' are supposed to be very slow - people complain that they barely do a leaf in sev months...
