'Bertie Ferris' is a miniature dormant diploid introduced in 1969 by Winniford. No additional information on this hybridizer.

Bertie Ferris is an early extended bloomer. It has a rust resistance rating of 2.0. It has earned the following AHS awards: Stout Silver Medal: 1980, Award of Merit: 1975, Honorable Mention: 1972, JC: 1969, and DFM: 1973.
