I have a test area with 12 species of MW for a test. No eggs or Cats here and I have only seen 2 adults - over 2 weeks ago now. Last year I had 3 types - Common, Swamp and Tropical in that area. Overall I found most ehhs on the Common, but at the larva stage they liked to moved to the Swamp.
