Just following the rest of the crowd over here! I need to get outside and get pictures of my blooming lilies. I missed snapping a few before the roofers did a number on them. Just waiting for the newer blooms to open, since the first ones got battered. Learned a new trick in the process, though. One of the stems got completely broken off, so I brought it inside and trimmed it shorter, and popped it in a vase. In no time, the vase had tipped over and spilled water and lilies all over my (cluttered) kitchen table. I pulled a bag of polished stones out of my desk drawer (can't remember what I bought them for, ages ago) and filled the bottom of the vase with rocks. Nice to have a counter-balance to my big, heavy stem of lilies!
