Can't say too much water either for it Patty, I have seen them grow in my old homeland, we get over 22 typhoons there and gets flooded..they don't go like that as far as I can remember. Well broken branches maybe due to the very strong winds, but not droopy.

Hope it perks up again, but I would surely try giving it more water, your plant is much more mature and fully leafed, it can certainly take it.
