You can never go wrong with adding lots of organic material to your garden -- compost, leaves, grass clippings, etc. Any diseased plants should be thrown away, not composted or left in the garden. Otherwise, do you have any particular problems with the way your plants are growing? (I think we'd be hard pressed to find any gardener here that wouldn't say "could be better" about their garden...
)
