Here's some good news: There's a new rose nursery in Florida that's selling own-root roses in bands at low prices. The website lacks an "About Us" page, so you wouldn't even know about the size of the roses or the fact that they ship them to any state by 2-day USPS priority mail without doing some digging on other sites. Some GardenWeb members have placed orders and posted pictures of the delivered products, and they're impressive. They're much larger plants than the ones Rogue Valley and some of the other own-root nurseries send.

Most of the roses are $15.00, but they currently have a few on sale for $10.00.

I know threads are more likely to be read if they have a thumbnail photo, so I'm including a photo of Madame Lombard, one of the roses they carry.
