Terri, your first picture looks really good to me. I don't think two weeks is enough to conclude anything, but the fact that there's no elongation going on in there is encouraging. Yet they may turn out to be flower buds... like mine. Here's mine from maybe three weeks ago and there are definitely some bloom stalks happening. Shrug!

It seems like the pointy tips are a dead giveaway that flower buds are coming. In Terri's first picture, the buds seem more like tiny new rosettes.
