I think northern rebloom is very season dependent, just like branching and bud count. Last year, my established clump bloomed from June 27 to August 29, a total of an incredible 63 days. Most fans put up three scapes each (!).

This year MISTER BUTTERS appears to be suffering from the weather. It put up poorly branched scapes with reduced bud count this year. It started blooming on June 20 and is now almost bloomed out. Only two fans have sent up single rebloom scapes. I think this difference in performance is entirely due to weather and has nothing to do with the actual quality of the plant. It is capable of putting on a stellar performance.

Even during an unexpected "off" season, this is a VERY showy garden plant and will draw your eye from across the garden while in bloom. It is very heavily and pleasantly fragrant as well!

It was also recently awarded an Honorable Mention from the AHS. A very well-deserved congratulations to Davi!
