Do you spray this soap-ammonia solution directly on your lilies? Did the problems with burnt buds start before or after you started doing this?
I only wonder as sometimes spraying can burn buds and flowers (and foliage as well). Especially so if spraying during the day as sunlight makes the problem worse.
